first overseas trip was to malaysia.[ i was in p6/sec 1 ?] my dad went to look at some houses. i went swimming.. [almost got drowned.. ] after that once i came back to s pore i quickly signed up for swimming lessons.. lol. 2nd trip was to xiamen- my grandparents' hometown. lovely place although its quite backward. then i got food poisoning [ nt v serious though.. diarrhoea only. my sis shang tu xia xie, she even visited the hospital there ] third time was in nj. geog fieldtrip. haha this was the best. wonderful memories. nth major happened to me. i enjoyed myself but i lost weight during the trip. [xiang jia? ]
anyway we went to walk in the shopping centres.. once the cashier saw us buying chewing gums [wrigleys], she gave a knowing smile and ask whether we were singaporeans.. lol. ate at one of the restaurants there. delicious and relatively cheap. [but now im super thirsty.. so you can imagine the amt of msg added ] dunno why on the roads, i keep looking out for singapore vehicles. the car plates that start with a S then when i see one i feel a sense of familiarity. honestly speaking in malaysia somehow i feel very weird. i have the uneasy feeling. as if sth is not feeling very right. maybe its because of the lack of organization there? [hello malaysians, no offence.. ] there are so many s.c. situated close to each other. then along one street, there can be a few pharmacies/hair saloons/ bridal shop/ photocopy centre.. then cars can park anyhow. there was one car where instead of doing parallel parking, it just inserted the front half in ( 45 degrees) with the back sticking out..
ok to be fair i criticise s pore a bit. malaysia customs so good. our car sort of wheeze thru. chop chop. save a lot of time.. in singapore, they really check thoroughly. lol. koh lin fang? the malay customs offcer read my passport name then looked into the car expecting to find a guy. my hair in the photo was so short that he assumed it was a guy? after he realised it, he chuckled to himself. =.= so offensive
its good to be back.. singapore [ even though you got ERPs/ fines and a lot of other troublesome things, ] wo ai ni~~~ maybe thats why i nv thought of studying overseas b4. haha. anyway nally this monkey thing is called yoyo and cici. you can google it.
