today i went to sao mu.. its not yu fen fen.. it was qing pen da yu.. raining cats and dogs liao... 0.o on the way there, my father keep complaining that those traffic police very^^$&!!. the road conditions were perfectly fine but then they must come and kaypoh.. make the road more congested only. [ i recently read on stomp that there was a female traffic police officer who stopped her car in the middle of the road which only helped to worsen the traffic ] haha but i still think there was some improvements.. and its not as if they are very willing to stand in the middle of the road, enduring the heat/rain and inhaling those choking C02, S02, N02 etc etc..
there was quite a jam at the chinese cemetery so we did what we usually do for previous years.. turn into the muslim cemetery to park there b4 walking over.. we carried all the joss sticks, paper money and offerings to my ah ma grave first.. hmm it was quite dirty so we cleaned it up with some rags b4 starting to pray to the gods and then my grandma.. after that we burned the paper and said 'HUAT ah! ' lol.. so many other families doing that, but we only have 5 ppl so our voice quite soft. and then i didnt aim the paper properly.. it flew everywhere together with the wind..
then it started to drizzle.. we quickly went back to the car to exchange the stuff for my ah gong. it was harder to find his grave.. they all look the same. and then the rain started getting heavier and heavier.. we walked so far b4 finally finding it..[ actually we were walking in circles..] we had to burn the paper money with our only umbrella sheltering the fire.. haha. finally we finished everything and starting walking back.. actually walking in the rain is quite fun- as long as you dont fall sick the next day. oh ya we saw a mercs stuck in the mud. [ the whole family was pushing the stupid car which refused to budge.. while the father i supposed was depressing the acc real hard.] some ppl walking by commented "wow.. yao xi dao hen can " . my dad was like " hao ah! cong bai se bian cheng zhe zong yan se ". my bro "aiyo.. they shouldnt waste their effort. shld just call the tow truck liao " .. so NOT helpful ~~
