1) lack of privacy. i dont like putting info abt myself on the website and exposing it to everyone. even though thats what im doing now. but at least not everyone knows my blog.
2) this is something similar to above. im scared that somehow some super pro hacker may use my facebook account to do something bad/evil/weird. nowadays the internet is really dangerous. i think there was an employee of a big company which used the same password as her facebook [or was it twitter] for her account. then there was a leak of some confidential information. more psychos are out there too.
3) waste of time. i witnessed how my bro and sis got addicited to facebook. one fell in love with restaurant city. the other got fascinated by a garden game. and now both are addicted to mafia wars.
a simple explanation of mafia wars: you need to recruit more ppl to join your mafia so that you are stronger. you go around whacking ppl to gain money and experience as well as rob other ppl's shop. in return, you get bullied by ppl who are even stronger than you. they rob you 5 tomes consecutively/ kill you for nothing. you feel angry then you pay money to put them on the hitlist so that other higher lvl ppl will take revenge for you. but that idiot still target you. then no choice you put a msg to ask some of your friends to kill tt dummy for you.. etc etc
restaurant city: you set up a restaurant. make it nice and pretty by decorating the place. buy more things. tables,chairs , toilets, boombox, arcade games. do a food quiz daily to gain items to make new dishes. go visiting your friend's restaurant to see how they are doing. help them pick up rubbish.. reach a maximum level of 27 and then ... just acccumulate experience to let your other friends see how much time you have invested in the game.
tsk tsk. see really a waste of time right? and to think i even spend time watching them play and heping them to level up. no no i wont let myself fall into such a trap. even bill gates used to have a facebook account but then too many ppl added him as a friend. and everyday he had to spend time wondering whether he really knew this ppl. in the end he decided to close his account.
4) expensive electricity bill. dont want to hear ppl nagging beside me. hmm shld do something useful instead. like mugging. environmentally friendly too.
5) most impt reason. i dont feel like it. HAHA.
or the other hand what do i stand to lose by not creating an account? i wont get to see my friends' new photos. cant see what their high score is for spot the difference, guitar geek.. know the size of their brain, see what harry potter character they are, get stunned by how fast some ppl type A- Z. i cant even join the " No, I Don't Care If I Die At 12AM, I Refuse To Pass On Your Chain Letter. " club... nth much really. the most i wont get to know how they are getting on. but then i guess i think i would sms/msn ppl whom im really concerned about? if i haven forgotten about them. lol. but it would be amazing to find how my primary + sec friends look like. and shun bian find out how they are doing. hmmmmm.... shall consider it. but then again maybe not.
