originally, i also wanted to send but then the thought of buying the cards, decorating them... @.@ haha. anyway i sent quite a few xmas cards last year already. hohoho so this year i shall take a break. yea. i dont feel guilty. i dont even celebrate christmas in the first place. BUT i shall mention it again. thanks for the cards. i really appreciate it. ^^
went to botanic gardens today. the newspaper mentioned something about christmas trees being put up so we went there to check it out. lol. [real purpose was to enjoy nature] there were christmas trees decorated by pri, sec schools, international institutions, hospitals, landscape companies, embassies etc. some were really good. but others you just look at say : huh? this standard also can?..
there were 4 swans at the swan lake. the swans look really graceful. they seem to be able to skim through the water without any effort. their necks are pretty long too. i wonder why ppl only say necks as long as giraffes. the way the swans wag/shake their butts [ if it can be called this way] is also rather amusing. the previous time i went there, only 2 swans were present.
one incident to mention is that, when we were inside one of those souvenirs shop, we suddenly heard a lot " wham" . i thought it was thunder at first. afterwards we looked out of the window and saw 3 green parrots lying on the floor. they werent there before we entered the shop. then i realised that all 3 of them had bumped into the window. omg. what the? so this explains the phrase bird brain? lol.. but it was raining so i shall assume that in their haste to avoid the rain, these 3 birds were more careless and hence did not notice the window.
something random.. recently my cousins went to taiwan. [ jl gave me some souvenirs ^^] my dad went to indonesia. another cousin went to thailand. my yiyi went thailand to pray as well. xp went to genting. nally went malaysia. i also want to go overseas! sian.. in my passport, i haven even filled up the second page LA.
im bored. i still cant find a good website to watch my drama =.=
