i went for a minor surgery to remove that lump of tissue on my right hand.
so currently, im handicapped. not severely though but the thought of flexing my right hand makes me squirm. it doesnt actually hurt when i move it, but subconsciously i can imagine the stitches stretching if i move any part of my hand. i think i read before that murderers cannot empathasize with their victims thats why they are able to be so ruthless and cold-blooded. there is a lack of activity in a certain part of their brain. its something like when we see someone injured, we are able to imagine how painful it is. but currently i wish that there is somethin to deactivate that part of my brain
i think my tolerance level is pretty high. when the doc injected the ma zui yao into my hand, i only felt a sharp prick of pain instantaneously followed by a bit of numbness. then maybe aft 10 mins, he started cutting.. hmm actually i cant see what he was doing, i just felt a lot of tension. shld be a lot of pulling movement. i was imagining how excruciating the pain would be w/o the invention of anasthetics.. the marvel of modern medicine ^^ when he finally finished, i got up and took a look. i got FREAKED out. omg! the dampness which i had felt along was not my cold sweat. its my BLOOD!!! . #%#^!!&^$@!@
as usual, i got prescribed a lot of antibiotics. sulfamethazole trimethoprim 30 tabs. haiz...
im tired alr. its hard using your left hand to type. but luckily my right brain is quite well developed. [i realised that the male gender in my hse have totally no skill in tying hair]. shall continue blogging next time, if im in a good mood, i shall take a photo of my wound to let my friends admire.
i think my family doc is a genius. he is a A.P at NUS. i ve been visiting him since i was born. and now im in uni. count the no. of yrs of experience he has yourself. maybe next time, he might teach shima or ling chung. haha. its a small world after all
