i went to NUS's rag day today! it was quite a last-minute decision but nevertheless i didnt regret it. i brought my 5-year-old dig camera with me. it can zoom in x3 only.. hmm but the images i took were still quite clear. the battery was low though since i forgot to charge it last night..
so where are the pictures? still in the camera lah. next time then i post everything at one shot. haha
had lunch with wee at clementi. we took a long walk ard the area looking for a not-so-crowded hawker centre. in the end, wee led me to one which had ppl doing construction work nearby. [its the one at the corner when the bus interchange didnt shift yet]. the prawn noodles there was not bad. wee drank honeydew juice only but commented that there was too much ice. haha
then we took 96 to nus. saw rachel pek.. or rather she called me first. haha. i stared at her for a while before realising.. because her eyes looked bigger w/o specs. then during the parade itself, i saw wei ning, ivy, jew ee.. smsed nicole to tell her that i was sitting in the reserved area.. then because of boredom [ took so LONG to start! " ladies and gentlemen, the seats are limited. pls grab a seat quickly. we are going to start soon " yea right.] i started smsing ppl. like xp, shima, sc. oh i realised that i missed out jx, yp. haha. yuan lai i still got quite a lot of friends in nus de. hmm hmm
i took quite a few pictures of the float. most were quite awesome. but the ones that really made me go ' whoa~~ ' was pharmacy- blue dragon, science- nature theme.. flowers +plants, engineering - some sci-fi vehicle which gave out smoke.. AND of course sde. no idea what it meant at first but nicole enlightened me. theirs was impressive not only because they had many performers but also because of the fact that their floats were bigger, and longer than average. the colours used were eye-catching too.
i thought medicine had the best performance but i seriously cant remember too well. too many things to see. 眼花缭乱。 目不暇给。i remember medicine because their dance routine was the neatest.. we were seated at the extreme right from the stage so i could only see the performance from the screen.. oh yea one faculty had a few dancers doing the 'chair dance' hot... lol.
in conclusion. bravo!! 鼓掌。 鼓掌。 ntu shld have something like this too. or maybe there was.. but i didnt join. hahaha.
