Monday's lessons are the most exhausting, yet entertaining. My lecturer, Tan Peng Kwee, is bu kui a lawyer.. Today I got deceived by a question, and so did 90% of the other students.. LOL. I dunno how to describe the feeling. Let me illustrate using an every-day life eg.
Qn: Sleeping is good for health. Do you agree?
lf (before attending Mb107) : Yes. Sleeping allows the mind and body to relax.. blah blah.. On the otherhand, it has been shown that too much sleep is no good since it may lead to shorter life span. full stop.
lf ( aft attending Mb107) :
Consider:
1) How many hours of sleep? Assuming i) less than 6 hrs of sleep... ii) 6~ 8 hrs iii) > 8 hrs ... then in the case of i) long term effects .. ii) short term effects ...
2) Where you sleep? Assuming i) sleeping at home... ii) sleeping when driving iii) sleeping in public, esp in the reserved seat of the MRT.. the effects are...
3) How you sleep? Assuming i) falling asleep naturally ii) with the help of sleeping pills...
4) What health? Assuming i) mental health ... ii) physical health... the effects are..
Sometimes i get it, sometimes i dont. I need to practise more!
Anw ytd morning, i knew that mother nature was practising some sorta symphony and testing the lights for some concert but didnt realise how serious it was. LOL. wc asked me if I was affected by the flood.. my hse is on a slight bump ( if bt timah is considered a hill), so NO. If my hse ever experienced flooding, 75% of sg would be in deep waters too. Haha.
