happy 22nd!

 My friends at my intern place sorta organised a pizza celebration for me. lol. marshella came down earlier carrying some journal paper with lots of pens.. I was puzzled why she needed so many colours and i didnt think much since i assumed she was the type of ppl who like to use different colours to emphasize the impt parts. She said that she had too much time and was walking ard and i accepted that reason.  (i  really thought so, thats why she usually says)

Aft collecting the pizza during lunch, the 7 of us went to the lvl 6 pantry. the atmosphere was a little awkward.. dunno. Seems like the food wasnt really enough and there were other researchers eating there too. lol. I had a blueberry cheese cake too( dunno whether whose idea it was? marshella and regina probably) it was small but i couldnt finish it. haha. cheese..very filling and i had 2 piece of pizza alr. even though i was hungry before that, but ya. ben ren jiu shi zhe yang. always say very hungry but end up can eat that much only.. all of them sang the birthday song for me. No idea why b was so embarrassed.. regina sang the loudest!.. and there was also a korean version by yw.. haha  j used his phone to take a video of me with the cake. there wasnt a match to light the candle so he used an app which added the effect of some missile flying and exploding at the cake. LOL.

we returned to our respective working levels after clearing the mess. the guys then disappeared one by one. Later i found out that they were writing a card. kp.. cannot believe what he says. one must always doubt his words. haha. I received a present too. ( well, i guess it shld be regina+ marshella 's idea again since it was nail polish? haha ) thks guys/girls! im lucky hor, been there for less than 7 weeks and already found some nice friends. One regret  i have was that we didnt take a photo together. but its ok,  there shld be other opportunities =)

my younger cousins came over for dinner as well as to celebrate my birthday.( left photo taken today, the right photo taken a few weeks earlier)  so kind. I had a great time chatting with them abt random stuff. a cozy family celebration! jl da bao some dessert from a shop called bean sth? there was tou hua, chin chow, peanuts, red bean. tastes good! I had another cake from angie the choice. The cake is still as soft as i remember. Yummy! Haha, because my family.. like me, are shy ( like real?.. maybe sometimes ba.. ), I mean we value privacy ( except my sis who will get scolded), i shall just share this :

thanks to all who remembered. you contributed in making my day an enjoyable one!! ( xp, yipeng, xw, jl, wa, sc, shima, nally, cherry, carlye, yiting, peixian, nicole, anle and probably more belated wishes? haha, i understand, we all busy ah.. and im getting less excited each year.. but yup still want to acknowledge these friends.. and shun bian remind myself to treat them better! especially xp- championship holder, special mention for xw, wa, yp for their consistent efforts in punctuality! )  

i look tired! it must be the angle~~ lol. thats all. the end of 20Jun12. sleeping time! Till next yr..

just to mention: got to know sth abt a friend. i didnt realise it.. hmm. I really hope things will turn out well for her!
