I met up with jing xuan who returned from US. She pro lor. Finished studying at NUS high and went off to US to study art. I heard her mum was hopping mad from what my mum said. I happened to meet her at BB mrt on 27jul.. last day of intern. It was memorable because i looked super aunty with my barang barang.
She was telling me abt her life there and so on. She thinks that life in sg is becoming too ex. It was shocking to her how the cost of living rose so much. And she thinks that our transport system is .. because in the US, i forgot what state chicago?, she said that the place was much larger than sg and yet it didnt take longer than half an hr to reach whereas it easily took 45-1h here as long as we go abit more to the east side. hmm. its one thing for me to criticise sg and another thing for ppl to criticise it. i didnt feel too comfortable so i defended our govt a bit. NE too successful. cant help it. i still rmb a teacher made us repeat sth like this in sec sch during SS. " we must be global citizens with singapore as our homeland.. " sth like that.. haha.
Is wai guo de yue liang bi jiao yuan? maybe. my roots are here. It will be good to go out and experience a different type of culture but no matter what, you shld rmb where is home.

So i was telling her abt running man, lao ban, gong cha, koi, and then abt smartphones, iphones, whatsapp. And she asked abt fb. of course, dear fb. sry la. im still not a fan. poh hui, an IBN intern, she v cool lor. If ppl ask her why not? her ans: because i dont like. wow. fantastic attitude.
