LF's guidelines

Im back in action! Self-declared relax mode already.. I wanted to write a post yesterday but apparently blogger was having a problem so yup, i went blog-hopping. SO SO SO only NUS ppl and a few NTU ppl have finished their exams. THEN THEN THEN I decided to write this, hoping that it can be of some use:

LF's guidelines to surviving exams

1) Sleep
This cannot be emphasized more. Take short power naps of not more than 20 minutes if you feel lethargic during the day. You need sleep in order to perform optimally in exams as well as to concentrate better on studies. REM sleep helps to integrate whatever new information you have gained and store in properly in your brain. Have a good sleep especially the night before exams.

( but then most of the time the last sentence i dont follow. actually is 刚好相反. so nvm. i already say, its guidelines only. even rules are meant to be broken)

2) Tips
Most lecturers like to 此地无银三百两 . They will suddenly flash some past year exam questions on the last review lecture and go through with you. They might not allow you to copy and they will always say " its doesnt mean that if i show this to you, its gonna come out. " All lecturers are not out to murder students. They give hints in different ways. Some wont wait till last minutes and they drop hints throughout the whole sem. " AH, this is VERY IMPT! " . Although some deserve some beating since they give wrong hints. But in case of the lack of time, just focus on those hints.

3) Stress
This cant be helped. I also cant win this monster. The only thing you can do is to exercise more, continue to have a well-balanced mean to ensure that your body is in a good state to fight! Divine intervention helps. The guan yin miao at bugis is a good place to visit. You might want to cut your hair too. 三千烦恼丝. You will experience a physical and psychological cooling effect.

4) Time mgt
This is basic. Everybody here has been studying for more than 10 years. Seasoned students already. Silly mistakes like spending 45 minutes on a single question, forgetting that there is a question on the last page, which you didnt realise until the last min, shouldnt be made. And of course, dont procrastinate.

( Once again, im doing exactly what the last sentence said. aiya. forget abt studying first, my mental health is most important. )

Ending off here with things i usually say : If you are going through hell, keep going. 船到桥头自然直. Everything will be okay in the end, if its not okay, its not the end!! WORK HARD!!

(i feel like copyrighting that. too bad, its all other ppl's words..)
